Camp at 'The Peak Centre'
Edale 2010

For our annual camp in 2010 we will be going to
The Peak Centre, Edale, between Sunday 8th and Friday 13th
August 2010.
We have selected a site for the residential – The Peak
Centre,
an activity centre based in the Edale Valley which is in the centre of the Peak
District.
The centre has everything you can possibly ask for:
- Activities
-
a large multi-walled indoor climbing wall,
archery,
fencing, outdoor rock climbing, abseiling, orienteering and mountain
walking, circus skills, wool spinning, pond dipping, nature
adventure and canoeing on a local lake.
- Accommodation -
This year we have chosen a site that can accommodate everyone
inside the centre in bunk beds. The centre can sleep about 46
people but after a site visit extra beds can be supplied giving us
up to 60 beds.

In addition, the centre offers many chill out rooms
with books/games/DVDs, and a fully stocked arts and crafts room.
The main sports hall doubles up as a disco hall.
The cost will be £125
per person and this includes all costs and no other money will be
needed, unless you want spending money; but opportunities are limited
for spending this.
