Camp at Holly Barn, Symonds Yat 2008

For our annual camp in 2008 we will be going to
Holly Barns, Symonds Yat,
between Friday 25th and Tuesday 29th
July 2008.
We have selected a site for the residential – Symonds Yat, in the
Forest of Dean on the Welsh border.
Some of our older members may remember that we ran a very successful camp at
this site in 2004, so
we’re really looking forward to returning to this venue which is set in
beautiful countryside near the
Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.
Camp will be at
Holly Barns,
activity centre;
Set in 20 acres of peaceful farmland,
Holly Barn provides an exciting environment for groups
with camping and indoor accommodation.
- Activities
-
On-site activities include: indoor climbing wall,
high ropes course, horse riding, archery,
kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing, caving and
many other fun activities.
- There will be a
camp concert and BBQ and of course lots of
games and sports.
- Accommodation -
indoor accommodation in bunk beds in Holly Barn for
Juniors,
and white canvas camping accommodation for Seniors and Amicus
members.
